Isn't he (Carl) voiced not by a VO but the best friend of one of the artists or something? :?

Carl is voiced by Dave Willis, one of the two creators of ATHF

I don't know if anyone saw it, but Adult Swim did a funny parody of The Simpsons Movie trailers with AT:

Trippy! :P

Just out of curiosity, is that the lowest score you've ever given a film in one of your reviews, Ben?

I just read it, too.... Double ouch! Good review, though; except for that Simpson comment.

To a certain extent, that review actually makes me want to see Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Movie Film for Theaters. That way, the next time my friends are comparing tattoos, scars, etc., I can whip out a copy of the DVD and say, 'Yeah, well, I saw THIS!!!'

I feel the need to make a defensive comment or two. First, if you've never watched the show before, you're not going to "get" the movie. It was made for the longtime fans and no one else.

Second, as one of those fans, I felt that the movie, while not quite brilliant, was at the very least amusing and a worthy addition to my collection. The random, bizarre style of the show was made even more bizarre and random and all major characters from the show's run put in an appearence (the Plutonians' bit being especially good).

Third, I should point out that the "fake endings" on the dvd were created and then leaked prior to the movie's theatrical release to try and confuse potential spoiler hounds.

It's understandable for a Noob ( ) to give the movie a rating of zero. You don't know any better. For the fans, I'd easily give it a 6 out of 10.

That's close to what the average rating at Rotten Tomatoes is. I noticed that RT's Cream of the Crop section for the film currently stands at 54%, which really isn't a bad percentage. A 50/50 shot at liking a film is better than the odds numerous other movies present.
