Didn't realize Laura Bailey was in this until I was getting an image for it in our "Best of 2018" article. May have to start watching...

She's oodles of fun to watch play, particularly when she's messing around with hubby Travis.

Re: Critical Role
So this morning, ahead of tonight's broadcast, Travis posted through the Critical Role Twitter this cryptic image:
(Lemme know if you can't see it)
Very quickly, fans were able to decipher the message as "Help Us Animate Vox Machina". During the pre-game announcements, Travis confirmed that a Kickstarter campaign will be launched on March 4 for the development of a Critical Role animated program featuring the first campaign characters of Vox Machina.

Re: Critical Role
The Kickstarter campaign for the heavily desired Critical Role animated project, The Legend of Vox Machina, launched this morning.
Link to Kickstarter page: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cr ... nimated-s/
Fully funded and surpassed $1 million within an hour.
Surpassed $2 million within four hours.
Surpassed $3 million after seven hours.
This baby is smashing Kickstarter records and the day hasn't even ended, the April 18 closing date still a long ways away.
So much so that media outlets are picking up on it. CNBC, Variety (which I used for the front page post), and Fortune.
So yeah, I'm psyched.

Re: Critical Role
So yeah, the Critical Role animated project as polymorphed from one 22-minute special into a series with six 22-minute episodes currently funded. All that had to be done was become the most funded TV/Film campaign on Kickstarter, beating the Mystery Science Theater 3000 revival's $5.76 million mark. And it's only been 3 days into a 45 day campaign.
New goal is to now fund up to ten episodes.
