That's from Cinemablend, though. They are the masters of click-baiting. I've learned to take everything they say with a grain of salt (actually, that's not entirely true, since I don't even go to their website anymore).

Well, technically they're quoting Heroic Hollywood. ;)

But I'm not too sure about their validity either so I guess we'll wait for the official announcement. :)

X-Men, Gambit and Deadpool all exist within the same universe, and will cross over into each other.

Also, from the looks of the early trailer, the actual, Russian, canonically-approved non-Singer-twink Pyotr Rasputin version of Colossus should be making a bit part in the Deadpool movie, to cement its X-connections.

Another reason to ignore X2. :P

Good call. This should help give Star Wars a much needed box office boost.

Honestly, though, having your trailer before Star Wars is a double-edged sword. Yeah, it gets your preview seen, but this is one of those cases where everyone will be talking about the movie when it's over, not the trailers.

I'm beating Vi to this. ;) Singer is apparently already attached to direct yet another X-Men movie for 2018.

Or, rather, he's attached to direct it for now, but he'll later leave it, "fully support" another director handling it, and then "undo" all of the events of that the film in the next X-Men movie he actually directs. :roll:

LOL Dacey! :) I thought this was only a rumor but very excited now!

I want him to do Sinister soooo badly! So many themes buried there; immoral genetics etc....
So happy about this!

After Apocalypse beats DOFP box office wise (which I know it will) it's the obvious choice to have Singer directing again. :)

Well, the key word there is "apparently," Vi. ;) Although it appears that the film is being fast-tracked.

It's still early to say, but I don't see Ivan Ooze beating DOFP, especially since it's facing very strong competition in the form of the Alice in Wonderland sequel.

With respect Dacey I really don't see Alice as much competition for Apocalypse (btw the costume we saw him in didn't show the visual effects that are being added in post production);
Alice is more of a niche market that caters to Tim Burton fans (no offense I'm one of them lol!) and families.

Apocalypse, like DOFP, crosses demographics. Families, teens, 18-35 year olds as well as many not in those categories are going to go see it. Heck, even highbrow critics gave DOFP positive reviews. :)

Like Star Wars, Apocalypse will be a juggernaut. That seems the most likely explanation of why Fox is already announcing a sequel! :)
