I got lucky. I've been working on pushing out an app update this week and fortunately these date changes were announced earlier rather than once I was done with the calendar!

Zootopia: March 4th, 2016 (the first time within my lifetime Disney has released an animated feature in March?)

Moana: November 23rd, 2016 (literally almost the exact same release date as Frozen had last year)

Right about now, it would also help to keep an eye on those many, many announced Dreamworks projects that may have to be taken off the calendar--
B.O.O. is still in limbo, but I think we can safely not wait for "Puss in Boots 2".

Did they announce that? I took a few things off, but I didn't think DW had make anything official.

We've been expecting these for awhile. Glad they finally made it official. Three movies a year was just ridiculously too much for one studio.

I spent a big chunk of yesterday morning updating the calendar database, which included going through and removing movies that appear to have been cancelled. I spent a good amount of time looking for info on Spark. Their website is gone and the studio's Facebook page has nothing about it anymore. So I deleted it. Then yesterday afternoon they make an announcement! Guess I need to re-add it to the database...

Hi! We have launched the Kickstarter campaign for MashMe ( http://mash.me/ ) which allows You to create amazing 3D animated videos in real time. You can just stand or sit in front of your webcam and you live animate any 3D character you want.On top of that, you can video chat with your friends as your favorite characters.
Here is the campaign link https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/57 ... -character

It would mean the world to us if you could back us or simply share our campaign.

My weekend just got better! ;)

Deadline says it has no new date yet. ComingSoon may have just listed it's date as the last day of the year to keep in on the 2015 calendar until they know more. I'm moving it off ours completely since we only list movies with at least a year announced.

February or March 2016?

Direct to video?

Online only?

Never to be released?

The Weinsteins to finally "get" that they don't get animation?
