BOY, does this make me long for traditionally animated films!
Even if the plots were no different, with art like this people would at least be giving DWA film a second look if nothing else.

Honestly, I can't imagine Dragons, Panda or Guardians done in 2D. Dragons especially really does use CGI animation to the fullest.

I see your point but I still feel there's always that hidden potential. Just because we can't imagine it doesn't mean it couldn't be.

Perhaps. But the Dragon movies have such a scope to them, especially during the flying scenes. The world just looks so real that you feel like you could walk in and explore it.
