To be accused out of the blue is one thing, to have everyone go back and find parallels in your work (eg. all the healthy athletic twinks that show up in Apt Pupil and the X-movies) is another--It's rather hard to be Wrongly Accused when you're your own most convincing witness for the prosecution.
