Amazed nobody's been talking about the trailer for the next Muppet movie!
There's an odd amount of footage in here that I doubt's in the actual film (basically, anything with Animal or Kermit talking to the audience is unlikely to be in the finished product) That leaves a weirdly low amount of actual footage to talk about, but what I see looks fun and delightful, though for the next trailer I'd like to more story from the film itself.
Also, I love how, following The Muppets, this film also has birds singing another popular tune.
I love all things cinema, from silent movies to world cinema to animated cinema to big blockbusters to documentaries and everything in between!
It does look very good and very entertaining. Also noticed in the credits that Bret McKenzie has returned to write the songs, so that is also another great thing. I will admit that I thought it was cool that Walt was back. That's he name isn't it, the dude introduced in the first movie.
[heavy sarcasm]Although I am disgusted that no real plot was revealed, will have to rely on the French trailer.[/heavy sarcasm]
Seeing the Muppet Show theater flat (not the Telethon one from that last film) was a big thrill, so it looks like we'll get another "episode" in the movie.
I've found that Muppets From Space isn't nearly as bad as its reputation would suggest. May not have the "heart" of some of the other Muppet films, but it is fun.

Here's hoping. We had a screening of the new Caper BD as part of an Elstree Studios season in town last week, and it not only looked lovely, but I'd forgotten just how funny it was. Since Dad worked on that one (and we went to the set many times), it's always been a close one to me, but I found I really enjoyed it again much more than I think I have in the past - even when we showed it three or four years ago at another event. Really delightful...they don't make 'em like that any more, although I now have high hopes for the new Most Wanted...!

What did he do? (Or have you mentioned it before?)
Meanwhile, in our post-Disney Muppet Dignity department: http://insidetv.ew.com/2013/11/29/lady- ... t-special/
Sounds like someone was a still little too contractually stubborn about getting cut out of the first Disney movie.
(And those guy-eyes STILL freak me out. It's like Seinfeld and the Big-Hand girl.)
