Have they released Cats Don't Dance in widescreen?

It's not even open matte from what I remember...a straight pan and scan job. :(

I just watched this again for the first time in several years. Such an adorable movie... It really deserves better.

I still haven't seen it. Is it really that good?

Cats Don't Dance has stellar animation and good direction, but I didn't really connect to the story as much as a lot of other people have. Then again, I did see it soon after I was blown away by The Iron Giant, so perhaps my expectations were too high.

I agree. It's a great movie. I watched it on DVD for the first time, so I've never seen it on widescreen. Still good though. :)

I know this isnt one of them but to me it is. The little mermaid..... Whenever I talk to someone about cartoons I get "Shrek" and Madagascar.
