Yeah, I think it's silly. You do know that they sell both a set with toys in it, and a standalone movie, right? Same movie, only one comes with 'free' toys? It's not like they only offer the set, or charge more for it.

Yep, it was mentioned a few pages ago. But I agree nonetheless.
Also, I heard a rumor that supposedly a 10$ rebate is included in the BD, redeemable with proof of purchase of the Special Edition DVD. (In the same vein as Enchanted.) If that turns out to be true, after rebates, I would only be paying around 5$! At that price, I can't afford NOT to buy it.

But they still show it that way,and it's like they sell it with an Aurora keychain or an Aurora clock or something cute like that, they sell it with make up accessories and make it look that way.Daniel wrote:That's silly and quite frankly dumb, the set is just being offered at ONE retailer, it's not going to be bundled with every single copy. And no, it's not like Disney is saying this film will only appeal to five year old girls... Maybe just Wal-Mart.

Talk about freaky, I saw a new commercial yesterday advertising the bonus DVD. It was along the lines of "If you don't have a Blu-Ray player, get the Blu-Ray combo which includes the DVD version and have it for the future" Horrible paraphrasing, but you get the gist. Very smart move by Disney.
BTW, here's a picture of the Best Buy clock. Same picture as the cover, but I like! I wonder how it looks in person.

Y'know what?
Don't take my word for it, but I'm betting these both look exactly the same once you got 'em in your hands. I just think there's the "Disney" version of the cover - clip art if you like - and there's the other "darker" representation that's closer to what we'll get...it's clear that a holographic foil sleeve is trying to be illustrated there.
So...they'll all be the same, me thinks, just different pack shots that are spreading about.
