You know, I don't think it's needed to be confirmed because it doesn't really matter if they were he or she (or vice versa). They are robots!

Exactly my point! Why can't they just be robots in love, and it's left up to the imagination what sexes or genders they are, if they have sexes or genders at all?

That was great, but why did you post the same link three times?

Andrew Stanton said Eve was a "she" and Wall-E is a "he". Guess that settles that, huh? ;)

Dusterian-Keep in mind that if they won't say that "WALL-E is a "he" and EVE is a "she"" so the small kids will get confused.

Well Once, there's nothing wrong with challenging kids to think outside the box and use their own imaginations and decide things for themselves.

*Mother goes to DVD store with kids*.
Mother:Kids, what whould you like to see? Sleeping Beauty or WALL-E?.
Little Boy:Sleeping Beauty is for girls!.
Little Girl:But WALL-E is a girl.
Little Boy:WALL-E is a male!.
Little Girl:He's not!.
Little Boy:He is!.
Little Girl:He's not!.
Little Boy:He is.
Little Girl:He's not!.
Little Boy:He is.
Little Girl:He's not!.
Little Boy:Mommy! tell her to stop!.
*Little Girl and Little Boy are fighting*.
Mother:Kids, stop it! what are you fighting about anyway?.
Little Girl:Mommy,WALL-E is a female or a male?.
Mother:Well,he's a male since he fell in love with a girl *Hides lasbian book*.
Little Girl:EVE is a female?.
Mother:Look,if you won't decide....
Little Boy:EVE is a she!.
Little Girl:EVE is a he!.
Little Boy:No,she's not! and WALL-E is a he!.
Little Girl:WALL-E's a she!.
*Little Kids are fighting*.
Mother:Oh,Disney... I mean,err,Pixar,why can't you tell us if WALL-E is a he?.
*Sigh*,small kids,no wait, people are very stereotype these days.
Sadly,I don't think that they have imaginations, but I agree that they should use it.

Yeah I've always knew EVE was a "she" and that WALL-E was a "he". But I liked it too.

Also there is a new WALL-E Video on Yahoo, it's called "The Man and the Machine"

The next Pixar short which will be shown in front of "Wall-E" is called "Presto is Magic". The short sounds hilarious and I believe Pixar has another classic on its hands. I don’t know if it’s just me but does anybody think the characters look similar to Aardman's characters?

Here is the link to the information about the short.

The short is just called "Presto", CGIF.

I'd say the characters - especially Alec - look more like stop-motion Rankin/Bass figures, if anything.

Sounds like brilliant fun! :)

Ahh, it looks so cute! And this especially is intriguing:
Latino Review wrote:It's a slapstick ode to Warner Bros and Tom and Jerry cartoons, in which a turn-of-the-century magician finds himself in a hilarious onstage feud with his hungry rabbit.
