Yes, "meh"...I really wanted it!

Interestingly enough, they had put copies of Shrek The Third in the slots where Rat had been previously.

Excellent review, Ben. Better than a certain other review from a certain other site that usually gives pretty good DVD reviews. I though the funniest, most ironic "alternate title" was "Ratz, with a Z," as Brad Lewis put it. Lewis was one of the producers for Antz.

Yes, I caught that too. Thanks for the kind words on the review...there's only so much one can ramble on about in a review without sounding boring or too much of a know-it-all, though I did love how Brad Lewis was involved in both movies.

Rat did indeed knock me out, and just as much on a second view again this week, though I did start picking out holes in it! ;)

I wasn't sure if I was too light on it, but it truly struck me as something special.
It did have some really beautiful moments and spectacular scenes. I know I never said this last summer, but at the end it left me with a really happy feeling. :)
(Not many films do that.)

And Peter O' Toole.....wow. :)

Also, I can't believe this THREAD IS 75 PAGES LONG!!!
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

I'm shocked and puzzled as to how Peter O'Toole did not receive an Annie Award nomination for his voice acting in Ratatouille. I had been assuming he would win the award.

Yep, Patton Oswalt and Patrick Warburton over Peter O'Toole? Either of those two could have made way for O'Toole's heartfelt performance.

The Annies really need to start having more nominations in the voice acting category.

I'd like to know what is going through their minds to not nominate Peter O'Toole.

I'd like to know what went through their minds to nominate Warburton over Renne Zellweger.

Okay, that was a little bias on my part.
