Did you guys hear, that this took in about 2.4 mil just from the midnight showings? Not bad.

I'm predicting 70+ for the whole weekend.

Totally Meg!! :)
When the "Spider-Pig" scene came, (the first one) a bunch of people started singing along!!

But wow. Wow. Wow. What an amazing film. I have to admit I wasn't sure how the show would translate to the big screen. But it was more than adequate. Loved so many things in it, but the "Spider Pig epipheny" scene is SO my favorite!! :D

Great score too. Really different but still very much within the show's universe. Too many things to talk about here, I'll wait till more people have seen it!

But for now, I'll just say (You knew it was coming :P) Best. Movie. Ever!! :D

Too bad they took the show with the most viewers instead of the better ones,
I would loved to have seen Homer on Conan...or Letterman for that matter.

ps: It's now 9:22 AM over here, Just 8 more hours till the Simpsons Movie

You don't think having Matt Groening on Conan was enough? ;)

I was just hoping for it to be Al Jean. I'm kind of a fan of his. *cough*

Yes, Al Jean is THE MAN. I'm also a David Mirkin/Josh Weinstein fangirl. :)

Great Scully interview, though! :D
