Just watched part of Jack's '89 Joker a few days ago. I know everyone is looking forward to Heath (and I am) but I still think Jack was so great. However good Heath is, he's going to get compared to Nicholson no matter what.
This will definitely be something to see!!!
Also, great article written on June 89 on the Burton Batman!

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Hero-villain face-off: What makes Batman lack ultimate zap is its failure to produce a memorable conflict between its hero and its villain. They should have been two disturbed, funny-scary representatives of a disturbed society. This is clearly what Burton was after. But only part of it is there. When Batman tells the Joker at the end "I made you, but you made me first," we haven't really seen that. The movie has never shown the complicity between moral opposites that drives the great hero-villain face-offs--even in comic books.
The cool thing is: this is exactly what Batman Returns went on to be about.
And it did it brilliantly.

Not sure if this had been talked about yet or not, but apparently Two-Face (not just Harvey Dent) will definitely be appearing in the movie.

About the new Bats outfit, at first I wasn't too sure about it, but I like it more now.
