Indeed it does, although it didn't really give us any hint of a plot.

No, it didn't, but here's a possible tidbit on the plot:
Yes, its from that site that's not very reliable, again wrote: As a member of a primitive tribe during the dawn of man, 21-year-old mammoth hunter D'Leh ( Steven Strait ) travels through unknown lands on a quest to rescue his people from extinction. [1] D'Leh, leading an army, uncovers a lost civilization in pursuit of a warlord who kidnapped his love, Evolet (Camilla Belle). D'Leh and his army encounters saber-toothed cats and other prehistoric predators in the journey to save his tribe. [2]
Sounds cool!

Perhaps in the movie, When a Stranger Calls ? She was the lead, in this rather dull remake.

You make it sound like a sequel, Ben.
And is she really in it?

Oh, yeah, that's it.

Not to say I wasn't scared, it just pailed in comparison to the original.

Well, if you were scared by the remake, I wouldn't recommend seeing the original. From what I recall, (watched it once, about two years ago) it was
scary !
Bye the way, a sequel
is in works for the 2006 remake! Woot!

Four more days till
Cloverfield opens!! Yay!
Now It's only a matter a time, before we (finally) hear descriptions of what the monster looks like and if it's actually any good. So exited!

They've done well to keep this under wraps.
