Wow. Some fans have real issues with the games! Gotta admit I only have the Dreamcast port of the first Spidey PS1 game and The Ultimate Spider-Man game (GameCube version).
I guess I learned a long time ago that it's best to stay away from license-based games unless they get REALLY, REALLY good buzz from fans?
Spider-Fan issues...

.....Weird.....
I know the most recent Spidey 3 X-Box game was NOT very well reviewed at IGN:
http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/785/785643p1.html
Some of those games looked really old too, like Atari or early Nintendo? With a character like Spiderman and all the climbing/jumping he has to do, it kind of makes sense that those early games wouldn't be able to accommodate that very well. I know from having a Commodore at an early age that, especially with a JOYSTICK and not a real controller, that climbing, jumping and fighting with a human character can be absolute murder....
I think I read in some magazine how one of the best video game/movie tie-ins EVER was (other than Sega's Aladdin in 1993)...... Tiny Toon Adventures. (also 1993, I think.)

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

If you go to YouTube you can watch The Angry Nintendo Nerd reviewing Back the Future: The Video Game, Nightmare on Elm Street, Roger Rabbit, all from the late 1980's: SOOOOOOO funny!!!!! Especially the Back to the Future one.
(**Warning** Like George said earlier, he uses some pretty rough language, to put it mildly. But it's really funny if you know older games and how they worked. )

Wow,some of this games are really old,one of them by the way is Spider-Man 2 for GBA which is a good game by the way.
Also did anyone heard about Spider-Man:Friend or Foe? (it's a good, but the storyline sucks),also Ultimate Spider-Man is a very good game.
