I couldn't find a topic for this yet so here it is.
Does anyone else love this show? I'm totally hooked. I actually think it has everything Family Guy lacks. Good storylines, genuinely funny jokes and hilarious characters. Any scene with Stan and Roger together is just insanely funny.
I just got the volume 1 dvd, this show is so incredibly funny. Anyone else agree? Or am I alone on this?

You're not alone Patrick. I like American Dad too. I bought the dvd on a whim and laughed my butt off! I especially liked the 2 parter where they end up in Saudi Arabia.

yeah those were incredibly funny.
Stan to Francine: "Surprise! I got us a second wife!"
with every new episode I watch, this show grows on me.

yay! I like the show a lot! My favorite character is Rodger... and Klause (the goldfish, I think that's how you spell his name...) the show is really funny and suprisingly well written!

American Dad is a wonderful show but Family Guy is way funnier.

I personally think Family guy was funnier,
American Dad has improved so much while Family Guy has gone downhill in my opinion.

I don't like American Dad at all, so naturally, I think Family Guy is far superior.
And I somewhat agree about it going downhill. Its not as great, but its still good.

Have you seen any recent episodes Dan?
You might still dislike it but it's quite different (and better) from the first season.

Nope, I only caught the first three episodes of season 1.
Has it really improved that much? Hmm..
I'll try give it another chance one of these Sundays.

Yes, it really has improved that much Dan, they learned a lot from their mistakes from season 1.
Patrick Stewart is so damn funny in this show!!
Off course, like every show it has its lesser episodes but many of the last ones have been truly outstanding.

That's comforting to know.
Doesn't Patrick Stewart voice his boss or something?

Yes Daniel, he does.
He does a great job as well, so unlike anything Stewart ever played.

Yes, lately American Dad has become funnier.
I wonder why Cartoon Network doesn't air reruns anymore.
