Oh no, there was nothing wrong with it, I just thought it wasn't done very convincingly, very cliche, Horatio Alger, "keep striving and you'll make it" type thing. I think being poor while happy and determined to live life to the fullest is quite admirable, but Cameron's script....*shakes head*
Plus, Leo's southwestern accent came and went and then somehow magically transformed into a Cali one by the end of the film.....
He was bad, I'll admit, but I don't think he's as bad as everyone makes him out to be.
I also don't think he was as bad as people said...plus, I read somewhere ages ago that it wasn't even how he wanted Jack to be, he wanted to make him much more complex and Cameron told him "no" and to stick to the script....figures.....
