I think it's a perfect title because
Harry (and probably Ron and Hermione as well) presumably goes searching for Voldemort's horcruxes as set up by the end of book six. The "Deathly Hollows" of the title probably refers to the place where he finds one of them, or perhaps to the place where Harry and Voldemort have their inevitable final showdown. Also, I predict that the final book's story will cover several years, not just one. I think this because, as difficult as it was for Dumbledore to find just one of the horcruxes, I don't think I could suspend my disbelief enough to buy that Harry could find the rest of them AND defeat Voldemort in the short span of one year. Maybe Ms. Rowling will surprise me and prove me wrong, but I doubt it.

Well, based on that title, this isn't going to be a dark book at ALL. ;)

YCougar - Haha -- yes, I can just see the "fuzziness" and "cuddly" factor of it. :P
"Deathly Hallows", huh? I don't like the sound of that....

I imagine that it refers to "Godric's Hallow" in some way; although, judging by the fact that both words, though almost identical in spelling and pronunciation, have completely different meanings...I could be wrong.

Sounds like "someone" has got it in for Harry in this book....
I'm shivering. (snigger)

What's Harry doing - summoning the devil?!?

Anyway...Not the best HP cover art I've seen. All he's really doing is sticking his hand in the air...

I dunno, I like it. Probably because he actually looks male in this one (the cover for the 4th book still throws me off because Harry looks like a girl with a short haircut).

And I'm sure that, like most of the covers, it will make perfect sense after we read the book...
But the way this cover is set up, it looks like maybe he's doing something with Voldemort instead of necessarily against him... or he's being controlled? Verrrry intriguing...

According to the new Jim Hill article (he's one of the first people to break the news) the Harry Potter franchise will.....(drum roll).....

NOT be getting any kind of deal with the Walt Disney parks. :?

W-A-L-E's going to be featured in a big way over the next few months, however.

Jim's gotten so negative!

Poor box office on Meet The Robinsons? Blah.

And what's that about the in-park premieres? Has he forgotten that The Incredible Mr Limpet did that years before even his 1970s example?

And, nothing to do with Jim, this, but Potter doesn't belong in a Disney park anyhoo. Perfectly suited to Universal's more "movie-themed" approach.
