Eyes Without a Face
Carnival of Souls
Le Samourai

Had to replace old copies with nice shiny new Criterion releases.

Also ordered Le Roi et l'oiseau which I have been after for ages. I was hoping the forthcoming Ghibli release would also have English subs but sadly not so I just plumped for the French release.

It stinks!

Wink

Great DVD!

Yeah I'm so happy I got it! :)

My fave episodes: "Dr. Jay", (Jay discovers a cure for Duke's terminal illness) and "L.A. Jay." (Jay writes a screenplay and goes to Hollywood.)

Jay: Maybe they'll find a cure for your disease, like in that film Lorenzo's Oil.
Duke: Isn't that the picture you called a mixture of fantasy and crap?
Jay: Yes, I dubbed it "fantacrap"!

:)

I wish soooooo soooooo soooooo bad this show were still on, can you imagine the films they could poke fun at? Superman Returns, Independence Day, Batman and Robin, Castaway....etc....And Russell Crowe, Tom Cruise and all those other Hollywood kooks have all just gotten even stranger!

And with all the "changes" in the world of Disney since this show went off the air (1994), they could have a field day! :)

"Ha-HA! How awk-ward." --Jay

Really sad that Doris Grau is dead now, though. :(

She played "makeup lady Doris" in the critic and "Lunchlady Doris" in the Simpsons! :)

I've been buying quite a bit recently......

Bambi (I never got around to buying this for some reason)
The Last Unicorn SE (had to replace the lame old disc)
The Secret of NIMH (only because I haven't seen it in a while, and I don't own it. My brother will own this copy once the SE comes out :P)
Season 1 of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends

I'm SO happy about Foster's finally being out!!! ^_____^

Yeah, I don't have any of them right now :?, but will probably get all three eventually just so it's complete.

(Plus, Kelsey Grammar does RULE as Hank McCoy. :D )

You can't get casting that's more perfect than that. :) :P

I also very, very much want Ben-Hur soon--I just got the novel by Lew Wallace.

:)

(It comes with four discs, plus it has the 1925 version! :) )

Still haven't seen X3 but Grammer's look was a sure suprise. Not at all like anything you'd have expected from him, so I suspect - whenever I see it - he will be a highlight.

Not really a DVD but has anyone heard of this cool book? :)

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0786863072

It called "Paper Dreams"--it's ALL ABOUT Disney storyboard artists. :)

Some mentioned in the book are Chris Williams and Mark Henn!
