Do you believe that time travel is possible?
Great line from Peggy Sue Got Married, echoed in Donnie Darko!
Anyway, I think it is. This article seems to say it isn't and won't ever be--BUT of course they always add that all-important "at least in our lifetimes" or "in our near future" or "as we understand it."
I really think it might be possible one day.....

Hmmmm.....maybe they should read this book!*
*It's not a real book. It was part of the film Donnie Darko.

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

The most interesting time machine concept I've seen was the 'time-bubble' from the comic-book Ninja High School, which travelled through time by going into outer space at hyper-light speed, to the point in the universe where the earth was, or will be, at a particular point in time (necessary since the earth, sun, and even the Milky Way galaxy are in constant motion).

Donnie Darko is still one of my favorite films of all time. And even though I know so much of it is invented and metaphorical, there was A LOT of thought behind its "logic" as a *mild spoiler*
There's a webpage out there, forgot the name, that explains all the parts of the film. If you look up the film on IMDB, the site's adminsitrator has a FAQ and a link to his site.

I mean, technically, if leave Earth in a rocket ship and then you go faster than the speed of light, when you come back you'll still be the same age but everyone you know will be years older.
I know it's not possible now, but if we find a way of achieving it, we technically COULD travel to the future, couldn't we?
And there are wormholes out there, and theoretically wormholes could open up portals to other times and other dimensions.

(Darn it, if only there really was such a thing as a "Flux Capacitor" )
Also, has anyone seen Christopher Reeve's film "Somewhere In Time"?

If time-travel was possible, wouldn't we know it by now?
True Meg....
That kind of reminds me of Michael Crichton's excellent novel Sphere. (About one hundred thousand times better than the "film" )
Has anyone read that book?
