Hysterical!

(Now, if only they'd gotten some Lion King in there too! :) :P )

I didn't think of posting this here! I've been sending out the link to this for months now...very, very funny stuff.

"Baseball..." ;)

There's a slightly longer version of "Vader Sessions" that has all the films where the altered dialogue was captured from.

It's a BIG list -- at least a dozen James Earl Jones films. Look the "Vader Sessions" that runs close to 10 minutes.

Most of the video posts of the parody cut out the end credits and run about nine-and-a-half minutes.

Yeah, I've seen the full cut. I love when he breaks down in front of Moff Tarkin..."I once posed for a nude pic-ture!"

Priceless.

I wish they had Lion King in there too! :D

Imagine the lines they could have used:

"Nobody messes with your dad!"

"What am I going to do with him?"

"OK OK, I'm up, I'm- up....."

"Those stars will always be there to guide you....."

"Is that a challenge?"

"Before sunrise, he's your son....."

Etcetera.....

OH! OH! Also remember his line as "Maggie" in that Halloween Simpsons episode:

"This is indeed a disturbing universe."

It would be so perfect! :)

"The Winter"

Post by Josh » February 20th, 2007, 3:46 am

Here is the latest animated short to be featured on the front page of YouTube. Titled The Winter, the video is described as "the trials and tribulations of Koopa the Man."

The Simpsons' parody that is ticking people off...

<Sigh>

Here it is... You're gonna find it anyway.

If you're interested, go ahead and watch to see what people are complaining about.

No, it's not bloody or gratuitously violent, but it is in bad taste nonetheless.

Not a very good parody about an event that's NOT funny.

I won't dignify it by posting this in the news section since that's the place most people look for this kind of thing.

My biggest problem with this is not only that it indirectly slanders the dead by dragging them into all this, (and the dead's family members) but the children involved.

That's just unforgivable.

However, it seems more and more like the old notion that kids should not be heckled in the media no matter who they are or whose kids they are doesn't seem to apply anymore.

It was broken years ago with the Olsen Twins, and even now, Dakota Fanning, Abigail Breslin, and others are all mercilessly ridiculed in the media, even though they're still children. And there's no shame about it at all.....that's what sickens me the most. :(

The Disney live performances and Promos thread!

Post by Jeroen » June 19th, 2007, 2:22 pm

Just thought i'd share this, a live rendition of "Beauty And The Beast" sung by Angela Lansbury herself.
Her voice seems a little rusty at first but comes loose somewhere after the first verse.

I remember her singing this with Celine and Pearbo at the Oscars in the film's release year, but this is a nice performance too.

What was this from? Neat that she includes it in her set. :)

Wasn't sure where to put this, but I guess it more or less fits here. :)

I had this on the Jungle Book VHS, finally it's on YouTube. I this saw SO many times as a kid, (even in the theaters when Jungle Book was re-relased.) So funny, I knew nothing about Disney Feature, any Disney Feature people at all. I just saw the great cartoons.

All Characters Property of the Walt Disney Company

Notice Lansbury sings "He's Our Guest" in the recording booth. Then the soundtrack at the end is "Be Our Guest." :P

It's just good to see the original WDFA logo, and the Mickey at the drawing board thing.

I seriously hope they haven't nixed that yet. :( (Mickey I mean)
Katzenberg is so lame in this Very Happy

As a kid I actually thought he was boring!! :P (I just wanted to see cartoons, not some guy talking about them.)
I do think he could have done a "better" job maybe, but all in all he was pretty OK for a "studio guy" and not a professional actor.
