Hey, has anyone noticed that the "skin" on the characters in Bee Movie is much smoother, less rendered and more cartoony than in previous DW features?

(particularly in the humans) http://www.animated-news.com/forum/view ... 67&start=0

It looks very Pixar-y, (like Incredibles.)

I think it's a big improvement! :)

Noticed it was well, Vi. I just love the colors in what we've seen so far as well.

I'm interested in the movie, but promoting it with lame comdy (not funny in my opinion ;)) is kinda dispointing... I want to see actual animation!

Y'know Spielberg is actually pretty good here! :) (Liked him in the Goldmember opening too! :D ) He has good comic timing! :)

Reminds me of how Tiny Toons and Anamaniacs used to put him in their shorts--not him of course, I think it was usually Frank Welker who played him. Same kind of humor, though. :)

Remember also how in Freakazoid, this one villain kidnapped all the nerds in the world including Spielberg? Ha ha! :P

Then they cut to Freakazoid and he goes: "Well, at least now we won't have to hear anymore of those 'DreamWorks' stories! Whew!" (This was back in 1995 when DW was basically all talk, no action--in that everyone was talking about them but no one knew what the real deal with them was, very much under wraps.)

"Y'know, ET was actually just play-dough and Chicken Wire!" :P

Yeah, I loved:

"Did you know what ET was made out of? ET was made out of Play dough and Chicken Wire."

"No, I did not know that Steven, and I'm thrilled for your success."
