If anyone has access to Variety there's a cool cover story on all the "tent-pole" would-be box office hits like Spidey 3, Shrek and Harry Potter this summer....

One of the photos they had on the cover was, apparently, a character from the upcoming "Bratz" movie--now THAT looked awful.:? I've never seen any CGI, EVER, that looked so plastic, rubbery, and doll-like!

(Or maybe that was the point???)

Basically, it makes Hoodwinked look like The Incredibles! :P

I loved Hoodwinked to! Nice animation, and interesting story! Winning combination. :)

I'm also exited for the sequel! Which I hear, is getting a bigger budget. :D

Hmmm. :? Well I saw a picture of one of them on the cover of Variety, and I'm pretty sure they were only talking about summer franchises.

At least it LOOKED like a Bratz girl. I"m not an expert or anything....

Either way, it was HORRIBLE CGI. Just putrid.

I heard from one of the producers on the Bratz movie that it was going to be live action. I forgot who the producer was (I want to say Paula Abdul but she was probably drunk if she's the one who said it) I know they said it. And I'm not sure if anyone brought this up already but there it is.

Did anyone see Sacha accept the award for Borat? I can't believe how different he is....! He's British, talks like a British guy! :) (Speaks very good Hebrew too, so funny how few people knew that's what he was speaking in the movie! :) )

He's a genius..... :)

Can't wait to see him in Mad 2! I hope he's in this one even more.

Another over-exposed Brit guy, like Gervais. :(

QUICK_EDIT
You don't think he's talented? Did you get to see Borat?

 :)

I found it quite funny, also you can see the deleted scenes on YouTube! (some kinda raunchy :P)

BTW I still love Andy Ricter and Cedric's guys! :)

Song?

With three from DreamGirls and Newman just having won for Monsters recently? Your/Our Town was a very bland track.

I love Our Town - but I don't think it will win the Oscar.
