So? That wasn't even the point.

Vi, loved the short. And if the short is lovable with no words, imagine a movie?

I say, if its true, and done well. This could be quite an enjoyable film. :P

I loved Geri's Game, and it had no words at all. I think it could do very well.
Me too! Most of Pixar's short films are 'silent' (minus "Boundin" and the movie spin-offs). They really seem to have a talent for that sort of thing and I'd love to see them go the whole way, so to speak.

(Not to mention it would get those people who're always screaming, "ANIMATED MOVIES STINK BECAUSE THE CHARACTERS NEVER STOP TALKING AND THEY USE BIG CELEBRITY VOICES!!!111" to shut up...not that I don't agree with them :P)

Good point Meg! :P

Also, think about The Little Matchgirl and how beautiful it was....spoke volumes....better than a TON of feature-length films and only 6 minutes long.
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Yeah, The Little Matchgirl was great! Out of all the Oscar nominees for best animated short, I like that one best, but I've only seen two of them. (Lifted looks cool too. I LOVE how the big guy moves!)

Here's what Mr. Fun (Floyd Norman) posted over at AnimationNation about Wall E -
You're right about that, Ricardo.

This is Pixar doing something different, and yet really cool. I think audiences are going to be in for a real surprise.

That's what being creative is all about, right?
Ooh, ooh, guys, I think it really might be dialogue free!! :D

Well if it is dialogue-free then they'll have to come up with a MEGA score. Which of course they will.

I'm all for a kickawesome score. :D I'm still a little wary, but if anyone can do it, it'll probably be Pixar.

Not exactly on-topic but this is Steve Jobs' Stanford Commencment speech back in 2005; I actually found it very inpirational and deeply moving; I encourage you to watch it.
