Ben, what were the things in it that you didn't like? Here's what I was bothered by...
It started off a bit slow, and I wasn't surprised by anything throughout the film - everything that happened just kinda happened, as funny as the situations were. The relationship between Larry and the woman who worked in the museum seemed unneeded as well - she never did anything significant , really, and there didn't seem to be anything romantic going on, either (although I guess I should be thankful for that - I don't want a love side-story for no reason, that would just distract from the main plot, which is something too many movies do.) The effects were impressive, though some of the green-screen shots looked wonky and unfinished, and a friend of mine who took a film class spotted several scenes where the boom mike was visible. Also, I kept wondering throughout the entire movie whether or not the museum had any security cameras in it!
Again, once it got going it was a LOT of fun, and overall I loved it.
I know it was awesome, Mac. I just had a few minor problems with it. Am I not allowed to say how I think a movie is without you approving my review or something?
And for artists who love hand-drawn animation, the gigs where they can put pencil to paper are few and far between. (Curious George was the last one. Frog Princess will, a year from now, probably be the next.)
My favorite out of the pics, would be the mob one. It looks so cool! and I see two or three characters, that haven't been on the show, since like forever!
