You want to hear something astounding? I kind of like that sequel! I think the only reason I like it, though, is because it was another chance for my sister and I to "spoof up" a film. I wasn't that crazy about the film itself, although I have to admit that the Jungle Rhythm song had me bouncing up and down in my theater seat. (snigger) Kaa got pummeled too much though -- heh.

thank goodness for this! in some ways, I even consider it better than the original. 
And it also just goes to show that that particular moment finalized and ended the "Jungle Book" series. Although, Mowgli and his friends did kind of "cheat" at the end -- in visiting the jungle every once in a while -- , so maybe it doesn't count.Daniel Jake wrote:
And many more, but the main reason is because of the ending. In the original, Mowgli never said bye to Baloo and Bigera. But in the sequel he does and that right there, made it worlds better. It was just so touching, and yes, it pulled at my heart strings.
