Here's a little info from Animation Nation, not much, just speculation:
They sound a bit...peeved.
I don't see what the big deal is though.
Animated News SAID that it wasn't confirmed.

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Well, someone just posted this on AN: Interesting.....
Personally, I think Sanders does have a good storytelling vision.

Chris Saunders IS of the project! Not a rumor but got the info of someone that knows for sure.
Chris' visual vision is unsurpassed, of course, but apparently there was no backbone to the story. And as we all know, who cares about great visuals when the story does not work. I don't, do you?

Speaking as a long-time member of Animation Nation, I wouldn't 'sweat' over the 'attitude' in some of the posts in that thread ..
.. to borrow a phrase from Justin in The Secret of NIMH, "we tend to take ourselves a bit too seriously."
After all, it's not as if 'rumors' haven't flown 'fast-and-loose' on that board, right ..?

OT, I had dinner last night with a group of friends who had just gotten laid-off from Disney last week, along with a few who will be finishing up within a month. That was a pretty somber affair.

Yeah, I know you're on that board Droosan. I didn't mean any offense; I read that site all the time and have learned an awful lot about many different things, not just animation. I'd feel lucky if I was a member. Anyway, I guess all creative people can be a little "testy" sometimes....Speaking as a long-time member of Animation Nation, I wouldn't 'sweat' over the 'attitude' in some of the posts in that thread ..

You really love that movie, don't you?.. to borrow a phrase from Justin in The Secret of NIMH, "we tend to take ourselves a bit too seriously."
