OMG Dan, you should have been here last April when EVERYONE got punk'd because of a fake story about Animated News getting sold to AOL...I TOTALLY believed it! :)

They not only wrote up a fake "news" story with "quotes" from themselves and "sources" but changed the whole page to make it look as though AOL really had bought AN. And they hinted that they (the AN news team) might not necessarily remain on staff and that it might just be taken over like Googol taking over YouTube! (which hadn't happened yet)

There were many emotional responses, mine included....

Not everyone fell for it though.....:P But I sure did.

I knew it was a hoax, but I want "Wagh!" when I first opened the page. :P

Wasn't it this April Vi? :?

To be honest, I was around I just hadn't registered yet  but now I am :P

Btw... I totally believed it to! It never came to mine that a site would lie, so I just went along with it. That was a very sneaky 'fool' indeed. Great laugh afterwards though

So, any new news about W.A.L. -Y..... ;)

Over at the Pixar Planet forums a member “petitelapin” tell us all about Pixar’s next film after Ratatouille “W.A.L.L.E”

He says quote:
I do believe the existence of the new anticipated film W.A.L.L.E does 100% exist. I have seen an image teaser of the actual film and yes he is a robot! In space. i was lucky enough to see it during a conference meeting at DCP this summer. The plot is still unknown, I am greatly looking forward to the release of this film as it has been kept on a such a downlow. I am 80% sure that this film will be a huge success, because I am still thinking about it since I saw the image teaser. I instantly fell interested and in love with the character, the title W.A.L.L.E actually stands for something, I think it must stand for what he is supposed to be which turned into his nickname. I forgot what it actually stands for because I was half asleep! Sorry guys, but just want you to all know that the rumours are true because I have seen it for myself. Can't wait for its release, its definately a big project as they will be working on it for a couple of years.
So it look like the rumor about the movie being about Robots is true.

I knew it was about Space!!! I knew it!!!
But the subject being robots won't be as profitable as other subjects. That doesn't mean it's not going to be a great movie. I really hope Andrew Stanton is doing it.

Kinoo - Thanks for the information!

I'm loving the look of this WALL-E character -- he reminds me of those robots that NASA sends up to explore Mars. Just adorabel....

And YES -- another Remy picture!!!! :D
