That was one of the best trailers i have seen this year. I couldn't stop laughing when we was stuck been the rock and a hard place. David Silverman is awesome!

Anyone planning to buy the Ice Age: The Meltdown DVD this Tuesday may be interested in these specials:

Best Buy ($15.99)
Offer to buy The Secret of Nimh, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, The Sandlot and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang for $5.

Circuit City ($12.99)
Free month of Gameznflix2 ($8.99 value).

Meanwhile, folks looking for an extra disc or two to compliment the regular one-disc release of Ice Age: The Meltdown should head to Wal-Mart and Target. Both stores are selling the standard DVD package for $15.87. However, they are also offering exclusive two-disc sets:

Target ($22.99)
Extra disc featuring "games, screen savers, Fox Movie Channel premiere and behind-the-scenes footage."

Wal-Mart ($19.99)
"Chillin' with Scrat" bonus disc containing "games, music and a behind-the-scenes look at your favorite hero."

On a final note, if you could care less about bonus features and just want to own both Ice Age films, don't forget the DVD 2-pack also coming to stores this Tuesday. Thus far, the cheapest I've seen it advertised is $21.87 at Wal-Mart and Target.

That's not bad, but I believe the 2-pack only includes the single disc of the first film?

The Target disc looks to contain the extra extras that are in the 2-disc UK package.

Yeah, the 2-pack contains only the one-disc versions of both films' DVDs.

IA2 was sooooo funny, but had almost no story.
So it was entertaining for one evening in theatre.

For those of you who haven't yet bought Ice Age: The Meltdown, Circuit City is selling the DVD with a free Scrat plush toy, this week only.

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

Post by Daniel » October 18th, 2007, 10:09 pm

Figured I get us started since Ice Age 3 was confirmed earlier this year and A-N reported this conversation with John Leguizamo.

Dunno if I ever posted my opinion on The Meltdown, but I thought it was ok. Fun and had a lot of great jokes, but it really wasn't a story that needed to be told. So, good sequel, but I still love the original more.

Here's hoping for part 3, though! :)

Well, the 2nd one was nice but still, the 1st reminds me of The Jungle Book (a bunch of animales try to bring a child back to humans),anyway i don't know if they a 3rd one is a good idea.
Don't they make other movies insted of Ice Age? Robots was nice, too.

Hmmm. I'm not sure how I feel about them making a third one.

Thanks!

A friend of mine told me it's from one of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy books, but I got it from The Simpsons Movie...Anyone know if it's ripped off or not?
