I think people need to take their minds out of the gutter. First, the only urban legend (dealing with this topic) that was proven true was the Rescuers. If you don't know about these legends, go to Snopes.

From observing the picture on-line, it sure looks like "SEX" to me.

Oh for cryin out loud! Obviously some people have nothing better to do than to try to find "hidden messages". I looked at it, and it doesn't look like it says anything. And there is certainly no way in HELL a 4-year old could've made out the words S-E-X out of what I just saw.

You know, that's the thing about these "hidden" things in Disney's movies. Whether or not they really are/were in the film, why is that supposedly a four year old, who may be blind or deaf, is always the discoverer of them? Kind of odd, isn't it?

I"m sorry but I have no trouble believing that these "messages" were intentional. What about the whole Jessical Rabbit thing? I'm pretty sure that was intentional...why else would they have "cleaned it up" before it came to DVD??

On the whole they have gone unnoticed so I don't think it's a crime or anything. I think animators just get bored sometimes so they like to have a little fun. Animation has frequently contained hidden messages and subtexts of all kinds, whether it be parody, satire, etc...The Simpsons has tons of sight gags that you can't even spot on the first viewing because they are so random....Plus, there's this whole thing in Shrek about this one scene where Faarquad is alone in his bedroom staring at a picture of Fiona in the magic mirror and it kind of looks like he just got....whatever.

Animators have always been slipping in things like that.

Plus, this may not be in the same vein, but in Prince of Egypt the two high Egyption priests look exactly like these two Disney executives, Sandy Litvack and Richard Nanula. Of course they spend the whole movie kissing up to Pharo. Another "hidden message".

Let's use logic here. Just because one "hidden" thing may be real doesn't mean that everything that somebody claims is a subliminal message really is a subliminal message.

no wonder that those people behind are rolling their eyes a lot.
He used those Urben legends (which i"m really had enough of them) which i bet he just found on Wikipedia and he also forget a few things (like Jessica Rabbit's and The Rescuers) and made nonsense of his own (the Pocahontas thing,the Music of The Lion King,the gay Mickey and Kiss The Girl as porn).
This whole thing is a bunch of nonsense (for exmaple Pocahontas means playful or something and each tribe had his own launguage and besides-that was her name in history,Disney didn't made it) and etc..

The Little Mermaid thing is well documented...it was done by a disgruntled studio employee who was then fired.

The Aladdin thing has been proven to be urban myth. He's saying "Go on, tiger, take off and leave".

I love that, apart from the obvious, he's got the completely wrong end of the stick with Pocahontas. What, Disney can't make a movie based on a historical person who's name has been around longer than any of us?

"The children that watch The Lion King are the murderers of tomorrow". This is true. How can you can argue with that one?

Likewise, Shirley MacLaine and the Devil. There's just no way to come back on that.

I agree about Little Mermaid (that cover was ugly anyway),Aladdin and Pocahontas but Lion King? how they can be murderers?.

(Never mind Michael Eisner jokes being three years out of date, basically, didn't we already retire gay/satanic-Disney-influence jokes some time after the Southern Baptists already made their truce two or or three years ago, to leech off the Narnia movie?)
