Is it one of the Tiny Toons films?
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

nope .. it was made more than a decade before TINY TOONs ..

to re-cap the quote, since we're on a new page:
"Don't you know anything? They're talking about mountain climbing. Mountain climbers chain each other -- so that if one falls, they all fall. Boy, are you dumb!"

hint #3: (practically 'giving' it away now) .. the film series was based on a popular comic strip.

Ohh, ohh, I think I know.
But I'm going to hold off since I keep getting these. Does it start with an A?

nope .. the title starts with an "
R" ..
it was released in 1977, if that helps to narrow it down.
I didn't think it was
that obscure, but I guess I was wrong.

nope ..
hint #(5? 6? I've lost count): The character's name rhymes with
"Juicy", and the film's title rhymes with
"Space Horror Wife, Barley Clown"

Actually, it's
Race For Your Life, Charlie Brown .. but that's close enough!
I'll come up with an easier one next time, Gadget .. next time.
