You needn't worry, lad -- to govern, you need say only one of two things: "That's a splendid idea; I'm glad I thought of it," and "Guards, sieze him!"

Oh man, I hate to be the one to keep guessing these, but I happen to LOVE this quote and this film:

Prince Mickey in The Prince and the Pauper, (1990) talking to Pauper Mickey before they switch places. :wink:

O.K., kind of general, but from a "short" as well:

"Let me have it, Mickey!"

Hint: It's an "old" short , but not that old, since Walt doesn't do Mickey's voice.

Plus, it's usually sold with another feature, both under one name. :wink:

Donald Duck, Fun And Fancy Free.

It was never a short, always being intended as one half of a feature film. It was later issued as a version for TV.

Walt actually DID do Mickey's voice here, but was taken over by Jimmy Macdonald when additional lines were needed and he wasn't available. In the end, more lines were added, and it's approximately 30% Walt, 70% Jimmy in the final tracks.

Yeah, I wanted to say it was a feature, but it never actually appeared in theaters. I thought that if I'd said that, I'd pretty much be giving it away so... :wink: (I mean it's either that or Ichabod.)

Walt actually DID do Mickey's voice here,
Oh yeah....when Mickey says "That's right. A housefly!" that has GOT to be Walt's voice. :) :wink:

BTW this game kinda reminds me of Scene It. (board/DVD game) Has anyone ever played that? It's like movie trivial pursuit, but it comes with a DVD that has scenes/clues/clips from many kinds of films. There's Disney Scene It too!

But, did he have a name ..? Sorry, I'm nowhere near a DVD player ATM, so I hated to guess .. but I honestly don't remember any of the Alley Cat Gang having names, except Scat Cat ..

==========
as for the next quote:

"Oh, for the love of Norman Rockwell and the Lettermen!"

He had a Russian accent (I think all Scat's cats were vagrants from all over). :)

No, I know. I just meant that Ichabod and Mr. Toad was also originally intended as a feature and never went to theaters. (and was also a "Two-fer." :) )
