I think Lassetter just meant that the films could be improved.

At least he didn't put them down the way Steve Jobs did that one time.

Still, it is a little "weird" that Lassetter said that, even though I don't think he meant it in a bad way.

And never mind Chris Sanders....practically everyone in the animation community knows how talented he is and is always saying so, like with Lassestter and Brad Bird. What about people like Mark Dindal? I still wonder what the story behind his leaving was.
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Hmm, I don't think there was a big controversy behind Dindal's departure. I mean Emperors New Groove was a huge critical success if not finanically and Chicken Little was Disney's biggest animated film in years (non-Pixar). I think he just wanted to try out different things.

Hi! im new here at the animated news fourm! i've been coming over to the site for a while now... I've been reading posts for a long time and i finnally decided to join :D well on to the topic. I am sooo ezcited about this film. i was kind of desapointed with the first trailer but i enjoyed the route66 one. I really wish they had made a trailer like the one for "pirates of the carribian: dead mans chest" That has got to be the most captivating trailer i've seen in a long time. I guess its beacause its an action film but, i think it could have been much better. I am though still very excited, and i cant wait to go see it on june 9th!!

Welcome aboard! ^__^

That's a cool license plate. Pixar is so clever. They think of everything.

I know! I'm so excited! I've got 13 days left to go! I can't wait that long!

Oh, one more thing. If you're gonna use that picture for your sig, you'll have to resize it somehow. See my sig? That's a good size. I'm not telling you to do it, but I'm letting you know that you should. One of the mods will tell you to do it eventually. It just takes up lots of space.

Just a friendly tip. ;)

That comment is going to offend people like Chris Sanders who made a great film called Lilo and Stitch. That's just one example.
I wouldn't worry about Chris and John. They have a relationship that goes back years. There is tremendous mutual respect between the two of them.

No problem!

And I voted that it will be a hit, but it won't top The Incredibles. I won't let it. Heheh.

The Incredibles soundtrack is the best! The one for Cars should be good too. Pixar hasn't had a bad one yet. I heard that Randy Newman is doing the score, so it has to be good. He did wonders for Toy Story.
