Aqua Teen Hunger Force

Post by ShyViolet » March 29th, 2005, 5:55 pm

Saw two episodes of this last night for the first time....

...................

Not sure what to say except the creators are most likely seriously disturbed. It's sort of like a combination of those old Ronald McDonald commericals with the Happy Meal Puppets, Gangsta rap, Johnny Quest, Beavis and Butthead and Two stupid dogs.

And if that sounds weird, trust me, it's even weirder than that.

(The animation's also terrible, but I think that's kind of the point.)

Um... Aqua Teen Hunger Force is damned awesome.
Carl is the BEST.

And the animation is no different than Sealab or The Brak Show or... Numerous other shows on Adult Swim.
In short, yes, it's supposed to be that way.

The show is absolutely hilarious... and I'm kind of suprised you've JUST stumbled across this show.

I'm not saying it's a BAD show....just that it's WEIRD. I'll admit it made me laugh. :P

I've known about it for a long time but this is the first time I actually watched it. Yeah, I guess I'm behind the times.

I know...but it still turns me off.

Uh...not sure how to answer that.

It was just my opinion on the show. I didn't mean anything by it.

I have to agree that Aqua Teen Hunger Force is a hilarious show! any show that has a demon sandwich, 2D video game sprite villains from the moon, and surf and turf eating basement mummies is awesome in my book!
There's a 68.71% chance that I'm right.

I've been a fan of ATHF for quite some time now, but my brother was confused when I was watchin it last night. He was like:

"Is this a commercial?"
"No."
"This is a SHOW?!"
"Yes."
"What's it about?"
"Uhh...I don't really know."

And I honestly didn't know for sure how to explain the plot to him. All I know is that it's hilarious. It's like a bad train wreck. You can't help but keep watching it.

And my favorite episode is the one when Meatwad has SuperBowl tickets and everyone else is trying to go with him.

Basically, it's just a show about these 3 guys that are in a crime fighting team, but never actually do any crime fighting. As you'll notice, the shows are always random and insane, but the intro and credits show them doing all these herioc world-saving things that they NEVER do in the show.

Any episodes with the Mooninites is awesome, though one of the best episodes is the one that focused only on ALL the villians.

I also love the Wisdom Cube. There are too many good ones to chose favorites.

I knew they were supposed to be crime fighters or something, but I wasn't sure exactly what the premise what. I remember hearing something about a tie-in with Space Ghost. ???

They started OUT on Space Ghost, and they looked very different.

This show sounds, um, weird.
