Inside out 2 beating lion king thanks to japan may have just hit a big snag. A new anime movie last mile is getting huge buzz this week so will io2 keep first in japan? We don't know yet. It will beat Jurassic world looks like however but has big competition in japan now and may not pass lion king now. Also note 4 of the 5 top 5 movies last week in japan are animated something I'm still jealous of.

So, a big controversy over lion king cg and no not is it a cartoon this time. Mojo has one box office listed while the numbers has another. Reports are the mojo numbers are from a uk rerelease of lion king but others say it never had one and those numbers are not true! So, we pretty much have a battle of this right now.

So, if the numbers box office is right inside out 2 HAS beat lion king for highest animated movie but if mojo is right, it almost has but has not beat it yet.

What a mess.
