"I think it’ll be surprising," Docter teased. "It’s got some really cool stuff that you haven’t seen before."

Maybe the toys finally interact with a human!? ;)

Not sure if that would be "cool" (didn’t they already do that with Sid?), but count me intrigued…

75 people have been laid off from Pixar, including Angus MacLane and Galyn Susman. For those who don't know, Galyn was the employee who had Toy Story 2 backed up on her home computer and saved the film after someone deleted the original file. That is seriously messed up and disheartening.

My prediction is that within the next 3-5 years we are going to see Pixar and Disney Animation merged into one studio, which ultimately mean the end of Pixar, Disney will use the name for branding purposes for sequels, etc...

I don’t think that’s ever going to happen.

It's a possibility when a studio becomes unprofitable. It happened to Disney Toons, it happened to Blue Sky. They even considered shutting down their own animation studio twice. Unless Pixar can change things around, that's the fate that awaits them because in the executive's eyes, there's no point in keeping two unprofitable animation studios. And no, eventually relying on sequels alone is unsustainable.

I’m not sure that’s confirming that’s she’s “doing” the next one, as in directing, as it just says overseeing. Strange that she would be, though, given it’s a Pixar production. Maybe misreporting, or just the Disney-Pixar lines becoming ever blurrier…

But we've already had Bo Peep "liberated" into a superheroine and wandering off to Do Whatever She Wants, and Woody turned into an afterthought, what ELSE can Lee do to the series?

(...Oh, right, there's still Barbie.)

Quentin Tarantino Says ‘Toy Story' Trilogy is So “Perfect" That He Refuses to Watch ‘Toy Story 4'
I am a big fan of the ‘Toy Story’ trilogy. The third one is is just magnificent, and it's one of the best movies I've ever seen and, if you've seen the other two, then it's just devastating. The thing is, three years later, or something like that, they did a fourth one and I have no desire to see it. You literally ended the story as perfect as you could, so no I I don't care if it's good I'm done.
