DMI just brought in a bunch of 4K and BD releases - bilingual cover versions, of course.

Ugh. So not Exclusives there, then? Just regular sets? Insiders US I think had added a couple of new ones, but it’s all mostly Marvel stuff, which I’m out of that particular game on.

Right. Canadian DMI shows no exclusives from DMC.

What sucks is that when DMI ships discs they come in that terrible vacuumed cardboard packaging that makes it virtually impossible to not damage the slipcovers when opening them. Tape can do some repairs, I guess, but can’t really help with dents (which might already be there from the process of shipping).

Ben might just want to, you know, buy Cindy if such things matter to him.

I doubt by this time that Cinders comes with a slip anymore, Dace. I didn’t even really like the film that much, but like Mulan, enough to take a "free" 4K from Insiders.

The trick with those cardboard packs is to slice or tear carefully down one side, past the box inside but close enough to open a space. You can then usually peel both sides open like a banana to reveal the goodness inside! It’s how they pack them that can be the issue: I’ve never had any actually damaged, but if the slip is not on the case just right and floats off top or bottom then they can become slightly deformed, although I find a day or two under a heavy book or even just tightly squashed in on the shelf eventually flattens them back out.
