Yeah, a pretty nice selection of "alternates": at least five or six gold titles (mainly from Tashlin and Freleng, refreshingly) in there, and nice to see some of the later films getting some attention.

I see the Texes are mixed in (Cross Country Detours, Hamateur Night, I Wanna Be a Sailor), so I can stop asking for that "Tex at Warner" collection to go with the Tex at MGMs.

But yeah, this list is definitely for the Archive obscure-toon connoisseur crowd, that doesn't want a lot of corporate Bugs IP marketing (except for Rabbit Rampage), but wanted to see the strange 40's one-off titles remembered (Greetings Bait, Fair & Worm-er) and is just grateful to see the Rosie the Riveter parody from "Brother Brat" finally enshrined on disk....We gotta have planes, y'know!

Well, doesn't mean we get Speedy Gonzales, but at least they can stick to whatever character marketing they have and we get one of the last Sylvester & Tweetys, one of the last Road Runners, and the Chuck-written days of "Hare-Breadth Hurry"

Yah, I’d heard about the slight sync on Eager Beaver, but although it’s not perfect it’s better than being *noticeably* out, and this set would already be a must without that for Catty Cornered and Cross Country Detours alone.

These are basically the only Archive discs that I order day one. Great that they’re coming so thick and fast (although hopefully with no, er, "bugs" this time out!).

Egghead indeed! Looks like the first one, the Avery-directed Egghead Rides Again, but maybe we'll get the full set of the three or four he was in. I’m not sure any of them have made it to Blu yet?

Getting them all out at once would be nice. The Platinum sets opted for some complete filmographies for minor characters, so it would be cool to see that happen here. The Looney Tunes Wiki lists just four Golden Age appearances for Egghead, as Ben mentioned:

"Egghead Rides Again" (1937) (on a Golden Age of Looney Tunes LaserDisc set; a public domain DVD, and on DVD with the Edward G Robinson film Kid Galahad - not on any LT disc)
"Daffy Duck & Egghead" (1938) (got a couple of DVD appearances, not on BD)
"A-Lad-In Bagdad" (1938) (only ever on a Golden Age of Looney Tunes LaserDisc set!)
"Count Me Out" (1938) (on a GALT LD set; only DVD appearance was accompanying an Edward G Robinson film, The Amazing Dr. Clitterhouse!)
