Bath Day and Frankie were two Figaro & Minnie shorts that were already on the Disney 100 Mickey & Minnie toon best-of disc.

If Gymnastics and Aquamania mean a Goofy 100 disc is next, bring it on.

Going on my Disney100 live-action run I outlined above, we already did Leagues and are just at Old Yeller, tomorrow night, so we’ve a ways to go before I need Aquamania (which I have on the Goofy Treasures set if it comes to it), but it will theme together with the eventual movie quite nicely…

I’m hoping we do get a Blu, as that also means I can blow it up to its original widescreen presentation with clearer results!

Watched QuANTuMANia tonight. Hmmm… I thought it *looked* amazing, but the *compositing* was pretty bad, and almost pulled me out of every shot. Kudos for basically the whole film being one huge series of VFX shots, but those VFX artists were clearly struggling at (many) times. Otherwise, there was a lack of humor, any clever touches or any real plot — two and a half hours just to retro-intro the next big bad — and after 90 minutes or so it really started to drag. Phew…yet another post-Infinity Saga title I don’t feel the need to nab on disc.

Ms marvel to air on abc as two movies on two nights. Bet these are the movie versions that was released overseas.

(Seeing as the movie is chiefly geared for getting Ms. M into the MCU.)

I'm not going to be a CGI snob, but watching the Haunted Mansion trailer, I was struck by what we all struggled to put into words about the Little Mermaid remake, in that CGI scenery is ALWAYS going to look weird and unnatural.
There's something too slick and polished about it, that doesn't have the environment of a location or soundstage, that looks more like the characters are on a big Zoom-meeting background.

Compare the Quantum realm to Peter Ellenshaw's old Mary Poppins and Black Hole matte paintings, and tell me which looks more immersively "realistic".
