Was going to shove this in the Star Wars thread as it’s non animation-specific and only somewhat related, but then thought that might spiral off on a non-topic discussion…
So…here’s the new one from Gareth Edwards, the writer-director of Rogue One that saw his film retooled partway through production. Glad he hasn’t stayed away for too long after that experience, and that he looks to have made a home back at Disney, here releasing through 20th Century. Who knew this was even happening!?
Looks an insane mash-up of Star Wars, Terminator, Blade Runner, AI: Artificial Intelligence and any number of other recent and further back 70s style sci-fi tales in design and — literally — execution. Epic!
