I did t realise Alicia Silverstone was still that young…!?
But, yeah, not such a smart move to dent someone so young like that.

As amusing as the Razzies can be, I think they've lost the plot in recent years, at least it seems to have course corrected this year after the debacle of throwing trophies at a filmed Broadway Musical event instead of an actual movie like they did last year. The Razzies works best when they are critiquing big studio output instead of random independent/little studios (which often lean towards dodgy anyway), so pleasing to see more mainstream fair being nominated this year.
And their nominations for Pinocchio just confirm I don't need to check it out, even for curiosity.

Except, of course, we didn't HAVE big-studio output this year, bad or otherwise, and two of the biggest nominees came from Disney+ and Amazon.
The joke was that the Razzies were paralleling the Oscar nominations, and now, unfortunately, have the same problem as the Oscars.
It's sad to think that with losing mid-tier movies at the box-office while cineplexes go empty, we're not only losing good films, we're losing instant-legend BAD ones.

Disney+ and Netflix but, yes, I get the point.
The thing is, all the *good*, nourishing films *are* sadly going to streaming, or at least being found there. The cineplexes *do* get big studio output, but aside from two or three hours of eye-candy, they’re just not really that interesting, other than saying that, yes, most are well made, to have anything more than a fanboygirl conversation over them.

They nominated a 12-year-old for Worst Actress. Talk about classy.
The Razzies
apologized and have set new age guidelines. Smart!
