Illumination and Nintendo Team up for Animated Mario Movie!

Looks fantastic so far. Really digging this rendition of Mushroom Kingdom. Love the penguins from Super Mario 64, nice surprise. Them trying to fight back was hilarious. Mario better throw a baby one off a cliff! The opening with Bowser was phenomenal. Jack Black works so insanely well, definitely going to steal the show. Chris Pratt's Mario is fine. Has a very slight New York accent. Pretty good for a tease.

Shouldn’t it just be "Mario Bros Plumbers" on the truck though? Unless this isn’t an origin story or that comes from the end of the film? But I always understood the Super to be a game name, as in it was a "super version" of the Mario Bros game (and most subsequent editions). And I would get calling the actual movie Super Mario Bros as a result, but would have thought they would just be called the Mario Bros within the film's world itself…?

From the posters looks like the mario bros plumber's slogan is "were the mario bros and plumbings our game!"

Thats the song from the super mario super show! Will we get a optimus prime easter egg from saturday supercade?
