I always look though and try to find at least *something* to get even half excited about, but there’s really very little. Even What We Do In The Shadows really trailed off during S3, with S4 being a very long chore just full of aimless ideas and swearing to get through.

At least Miracle is the proper one!

Just checked and, yes, it is actually Zootropolis+ here. That must be a pain for them to have to dual-brand, and begs the question why they didn’t use a character name to make it uniform across all territories. Not that it matters or makes much difference, but it’s kind of an odd choice.

Andor just keeps getting better. It's such a well-crafted show. A bit of a slow burn at times, but riveting. This week's episode was a nice explosion of development, even if we didn't get to see "momma's boy" Syril or much of efficiently evil Dedra.

The most succinct description of the show I've read (elsewhere online) is that

"Andor is Star Wars for adults .. who grew up on Star Wars"

I definitely love the '1970s' vibe which permeates this series, from the tech to the hairstyles & fashions. A little THX-1138 here, some Brazil there .. and perhaps my favorite tiny evocative tribute:

There's still a lot of 'loose ends' for this series to tie-up within the next two episodes, though. I'm not sure where it's all headed .. but the most Star Wars-y twist that could possibly happen is that

Dedra Meero turns out to be Andor's long-lost sister!!

I hope we can eventually get a Lando Calrissian movie or Disney+ show with a similar level of excellent writing & acting.

These days we are so use to every story having a twist that we look for the twist even if it's not there. On the Andor show, in the episode where Mon Mothma was told her sister was waiting for her, I honestly thought it was going to be Padme cause I had totally forgotten that Padme had died before the events of this series. But that's where my mind went. True the sister did turn out to be a cool twist, but still not as cool as a Padme twist would have been haha,
