As far as I heard from people who were there, the style is similar to Into the Spider-Verse. It'll be interesting to see the final result.
The song itself was fine, I kept waiting for an emotional height but it never came.
The premise:
Wish centers on Asha (DeBose), a 17-year-old who sees a darkness in her kingdom that no one else does, so in a moment of desperation, she makes a passioned plea to the stars. The answer to Asha’s wish is an actual star that falls from the sky to help on her journey.
It's more of the same, it really depends on the execution, but I can tell that this is more to my taste than something like Strange World, or anything that came after Moana. We'll have to wait and see, but so far it has my interest.
