Hey, can someone please tell me what kind of character Christopher Lee's going to play?

Christopher Lee plays the role of "Man of the Forest". Animated-News had the full cast list of main characters in Bambi II, on Monday: http://www.animated-news.com/archives/00004349.html.

Hopefully it's an offscreen voice. I like that fact that "man" (the principal villains) never actually appeared in the original movie.

The sequels lately have been looking great animation wise, and honestly? I think the animation looks better than the original. Maybe I'm just a sucker for emotions that look really expressive, but I think this:

Looks better than this:

Infact, did Bambi ever use is... uhh eyebrow muscles (??? I dunno what you'd all them), like he does in this one?
wow.. I think the new Bambi looks a little too 'anime-kick-ass'. I am not at all looking forward to the new film. The original films was subtle. From the new preview it looks the new film won't be. The part where the Great Prince took Bambi to where he first met his mother was just.... stupid. The strength of the original film lies in the limited dialogue and the visiual storytelling. I do appreciate that this film has at least beautifully flowing animation (eventhough it looks very plastic compared to the rough painted forest look of the original) But yeah, I'm glad the animation isn't as bad as some DTV's.

Somehow I don't think the whole movie is going to look like the frame where he's mad at Ronno or the dogs or whatever it is he's mad at.

The brand new footage [not available from the Official Disney Bambi site] has been taken down off Disney's DVD page but this link will still work for a few more days. It's nice to see this new footage - puts the above arguments to rest I think ;)
