I was just watching X2 again and I think it's a very well made film, even though it could stand to be better in some elements. (less preachy maybe??) The best thing about it was the complexity, which I think Superman really needs. Singer will do a good job. (thank G-d they didn't give this one to Bruckheimer!)

I thought it was okay. Nice, but nothing to freak out about.

It's nice if you see it, nothing to fret about if you haven't seen it yet.

Thanks, SV.
However, I won't deny that the teaser was indeed short. I was just very happy with what I saw.

I finally did get to see it. Pretty cool, but I wish it had more details.
When is the actual trailer coming out?
Well, honestly, I can't get enought of Ian McKellan. I think he is great and love every minute he's on the screen! He's the best villain in the X-Men movies and it wouldn't be the same without him.
Well they're bringing him back for X3...AGAIN. (*sighs*)

I've never seen the "X-Men" movies. I have to, someday, I know. They look cool.

Well, he IS the villain in this story arc, so they would, uh, bring him back, right?
Everyone has come back for this one, so why not IMcK??

Ian McKellen is a great actor. Why complain about him?

Ian McKellen is a great actor.
Not saying he isn't, but there are a lot of other great villains in the X-Universe. After two films, isn't enough enough? There are plenty of themes in X-Men other than "Humanity will never accept us/we must be superior/Charles my old friend/" Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah.*
*This isn't really McKellon's fault, he's a more-than-competant actor. I think a lot of it was Singer's over-reliance on preaching through not-very-subtle metaphor. O.K, we get it, humans hating mutants is parallel to our own world. That was obvious after the first five minutes of X1. Enough already. How about some new ideas? I don't know much about the new director, so it's hard to know what direction the third film will go in. From the trailer, it does look a little more original.
