Ugh. Error with the number of best pic noms and the list isn’t in the order I usually put it in. I’ve temporarily closed voting and will fix in the morning.

Thanks for the heads up guys. The categories are now in the "right" order. This didn't effect anything, it's jut my preference. And the Best Picture nominees are now correct. There was a misspelling in my database of nominees, so when the code couldn't find a movie by that name it defaulted to the first movie in the database, and since I started with Best Animated Film Onward was the first one listed.

gaastra and mrswaan, you were the only two who entered before the mistake was found so if you want to change your Best Picture selection to Trial of the Chicago 7 (the nominee that was missing from your ballot), let me know in the next day or two.

EDIT: Just a heads up that since the number of categories has changed this year for the first time since we've been running this contest, I've changed how the game is scored. For example, instead of 21 out of 22 being the record for most correct picks, the record is now 95.5% correct picks. This will ensure we can still compare results between years despite differing total categories.

Added my ballot, as usual, but not intended, the night before closing!

Am pretty confident this year, as a lot of awards have been going in the same directions, but two mid-level ones have me totally split, so I went with my picks over what might actually win there.

Still working out how I’m going to watch this Sunday, but I hope to be there!

We have a three way tie! Congrats to brobr6, estefan, and MileHighCinephile who each got 17 out of the 21 categories we count! The three also tied in the first tie-breaker we use. After applying the second tie-breaker, our prize winner is brobr6!

The tie-breaker only applies to the prize. All three are considered co-champions this year!

brobr6 was a previous winner in 2014 and 2020 making them our first three-time winner and our second back-to-back winner.

MileHighCinephile was a previous winner in 2009, becoming our 6th multiple-year winner.

estefan is a first time winner.
