Re: New Disney Streaming Service: Disney+
I got the D23 three year pre-paid deal so I'm good until after we are hopefully settled in Orlando next year!

Re: New Disney Streaming Service: Disney+
I think they may be working on something, though, or else they’d put up edited versions with disclaimers. Better to have most of a show with an explanation than nothing at all. They could even just run that section "silent", maybe with subtitles (although that could also tread on publishing). Not perfect, but understandable given the situation. Weirdly, the rights for TV and reruns would have been cleared long ago, so streaming must be being looked at differently to general TV terms. Muppets had such an amazing amount of songs and talent it’s a miracle that they’ve cleared so much; it would kind of be totally understandable if the Langham episode was the only one we didn’t get in the end, for the obvious reasons.

Both missing episodes are relatively easy to find online... For the Brooke episode, what Disney would need to cut is essentially the end of the sketch. Definitely not as memorable without that moment.

Canada:
Australia:
Some overlap and whatever is missing will likely be added in time.

Not bad at all.
Some strange choices, though, that continue to make a mess of the Disney and 20th crossovers: Ferdinand is now back in the Star lineup, while some other clear family films remain in Star and not in the lower-age D+ offerings? One day they'll simply mix everything together and just have the age filters on there and be done with it. But there’s no denying this is an incredible amount of added content in one sweep.

That's because Star is not just the "adult" section, it's everything that is not Disney/Pixar/MCU/Star Wars, it's mainly for brand recognition, they don't want Ferdinand to taint the Disney brand.

But it was in the Disney section, with all the Ice Ages, etc, and Sound Of Music, etc...

Re: New Disney Streaming Service: Disney+
Scrolling through the main page, it does all get lumped together anyhow. Die Hard shows up next to Black Panther and Armageddon in the Action line-up, etc. It's good if the Fox titles get "booted out" from the Disney section; they didn't belong there. It's not like they're hard to find by doing a search, even if they don't currently fit into any one "channel." And I'm sure there will be lots of tinkering with the layouts. For now, at least Star is off to a good start.

Re: New Disney Streaming Service: Disney+
OMG! I can finally watch Galavant! I missed it when it aired on Australian TV as it appeared on a free to air digital channel that took it's time coming to my area. When the channel got here I think it was half way through Season 2.
And wow!! I had no idea Star would have so much content. I was too focused on Love, Victor to pay attention to everything else. Now I'm kind wanting a good ol' fashion lockdown so I can do some major viewing haha.

Re: New Disney Streaming Service: Disney+
I really don't understand why they haven't just dumped the whole series of Love, Victor on Star. I mean they dumped the whole series on Hulu when it was released. I mean I am grateful as it prevents me from binging and neglecting work etc, but still it is a little puzzling.
And I noticed yesterday that Australia's Disney+ refers to Zootopia as Zootropolis even though it was released in cinemas and on home video as Zootopia. Guessing Australia's Disney+ isn't as uniquely Australian as they like to pretend it is.

Re: New Disney Streaming Service: Disney+
It’s US domestic vs international with tweaks.
Not that it affected us, but I also found it weird that they didn't drop all of Mandalorian in the UK in one go after it was all available from the US. But then it is quite nice that they do it to build anticipation and that once a week event feel.
