Yeah...but pretty clear what it’s supposed to be, right?

Well, just because I'm an anime fan doesn't mean I can read Kanji...
Song's washed out homemade VHS-cover scan might also give it away.

It was obviously fake, but then it was presented as a what-if, so I wasn’t expecting them to have an authentic tile.
As for what it was. I just took it as a Chinese/Japanese/Asian D+ style mockup.
Simples...?

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

And long before Hotel Bob (Chapek) became a problem, some of us Disney fans were on Bob Iger retirement-watch, since Iger was firmly dedicated to the idea that Remus Was a Slave, and thus SotS should never see the light of day.
Even snark-dissing the "fans" that kept pushing the issue at the stockholder meetings.
I doubt Chapek, with his "D+ is the Future!" delusion, would have stuck up for classic DMC disc restoration either, but looks like we can put our hopes on hold for a little longer...

It’s been restored, it’s just not going to be released.

Yep, the last major work done was back in 2017 to fix certain shots previously out of alignment.

Okay, RELEASE, then, Word Police--And we're still not going to see it until we find out Iger's real successor.

There a big difference between the words "restoration" and "release". I was replying to the word you used. Maybe *you* should have used the correct word you intended?
