So bizarre. Not one I need to worry about purchasing, but it could be a curious Netflix watch on some bored evening.

Regarding Youtube, I'll just quote myself:
As for Scooby, I think it looks rather cool. Elvira man! That alone is worth it. Also nice to hear the familiar voices.Daniel wrote: ↑March 5th, 2020, 3:31 pmIt's because you have to use the main link. I'm guessing you copied the link after watching it embedded elsewhere? When that happens try visiting the Youtube account and click the vid again to get a different url. (one that doesn't have "emb_logo") That should do the trick. Like I said before, it's picky!

It's a tad late to recommend this given that Halloween is now over, but having given this a watch last night, it's actually quite fun.
The crossover aspects are well-handled--Scarecrow's inclusion is especially cool--and it manages to work very well as Halloween fare, and is surprisingly action-packed, with plenty of chase scenes and a pretty solid mystery which has an appropriate and clever resolution. Yes, yes, I know some will have issues with Scoob and the gang using phones and apps these days, but the movie never feels overly modern by any stretch. Velma is basically the lead this time around, though there's still plenty of comedy and laughs, and scary-but-not-too-scary horror antics.
Overall, a surprisingly solid Scooby film. I haven't watched Scoob! yet (I've liked the trailers), but this seems to be a more "traditional" adventure for crew than that one appeared to be. I think most fans will enjoy it.

It's obviously an offshoot of "Scooby-Doo and Guess Who Works For Warner?", although the Scarecrow was...a bit excessive. Elvira alone would have been excuse for a movie.
It's getting to the point that Warner has to put Batman in EVERYTHING, as their own corporate security blanket, while sucking their nervous thumb in a corner.

Scooby-Doo has teamed up with Batman multiple times before (as far back as The New Scooby-Doo Movies), so having them meet up with a Batman villain is hardly a stretch in that regard.

Teaming up with Batman is a little different for 10's-20's Warner, however, that's only making Scooby movies to scramble for a New Warner Franchise.
In the next movie, Scooby teams up with Willy Wonka, Beetlejuice, Green Lantern, Gizmo, and Ralphie and his BB rifle, as they hunt for ghosts in the Overlook Hotel.
(After they all show up in Space Jam 2, of course.)

Don’t know if this will stick, or if its common knowledge already, but a working title for the second Beetlejuice is..."Beetlejuice Beetlejuice". Wonder what they could call a third one...?

The question is, what is it with Warner and them?
It's currently #1 top of their list for Iconically Sacred Warner-owned Boomer Trademarks they're trying to artificially revive with the post-Potter/Frodo cupboard bare, and if that bit of low-hanging 80's-fruit doesn't make sense to you, join the club.
The Goonies and Gremlins, I can understand, The Shining had "Ready Player One" to pimp it, Robert Downey's Sherlock Holmes still has its fans (and is PD source material), Willy Wonka has two separate fandoms, Space Jam is singlehandedly holding up their entire Looney franchise, and A Christmas Story and Elf are their only holiday franchises besides Chevy Chase, but those didn't get freakin' Broadway musicals!...
Well, okay, so Elf and Christmas Story did, but, y'know.

The question is what I asked. You already brought up Beetlejuice in another Scooby thread speculating on some non-existent crossover pattern. You basically said it wouldn't happen, so why bother bringing it up again?

Not the first time and certainly won't be the last. I've said that before and will likely do so again.

Trailer for the next direct-to-video movie, The Sword and the Scoob:
Time travel! Nice little nods to "A Pup Named Scooby-Doo!" and "Mystery Incorporated". Looks awesome!
